Measure Range:
Ethylene Glycol: -34 ~ -12 ℃
Methanol： -40 ~ -12℃
The tester is suitable for testing both methanol (upper scale) and ethylene glycol (lower scale).
The tester is not suitable for anti-freeze containing mixtures of both methanol and ethylene glycol.
If the engine is hot, readings are made on the yellow scale, if the engine is cold, readings are made on the whitescale. The readings are more accurate if checked when hot, the figures give the minimum effective protected. Temperature for the anti-freeze mixture in degrees centigrade.
